Board Leadership

Welcome to the family of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, (NAMI)        Thurston-Mason affiliate!

Our group works to be a wealth of information to the community, the family members, the friends and relatives of those dealing with day-to-day experiences of living with a mental health condition.

2019-2020 Board of Directors

Sarah Rensel, LMHC, President  (Elected to the Board May 2017)

I am a native Olympian, and have spent the majority of my days in beautiful Western Washington!  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and in the process of training to be a Chemical Dependency Professional.  I have been involved with our NAMI affiliate almost four years.  I am a member of Saint Michael Parish, and I am particularly passionate about advocating for those whose lives, like my own, have been touched by Mental Illness especially through personal experience.  I enjoy gardening, knitting, and spending time with family and friends in my spare time.
