Meet our Director of Operations, Marilyn Roberts
Marilyn has been involved in NAMI Thurston-Mason since 2004 when she first came to a family support group to find support for her and her son after a crisis. She was recommended to take NAMI’s signature family education course “Family to Family”. The program had a profound affect on her, her son and her family. Since that time, Marilyn has immersed herself in NAMI programs and has made it her mission to keep NAMI programs growing and meeting the needs of the community. Marilyn was board President for 10 years prior to taking staff position in 2018.
Meet our “New” Program Manager, Jennie Wagner, MSW
Jennie came to NAMI Thurston-Mason as a USC, Masters in Social Work Intern in January of 2019 and decided to help take on duties at the office after her graduation in June. Jennie’s interest in Macro social work (centering on the investigation of larger scale social problems, and the development and implementation of social interventions that aim to effect positive change at the community, state, and national levels) provides a great foundation for her work with NAMI.
